California International Harvester Collectors Foundation:
The California International Harvester (IH) Collectors Foundation has recently been formed by IH Collectors Chapter #14, for public and charitable funding on the collection, restoration, and displaying of International Harvester equipment, machinery, and other items of historic interest.
The purpose of the foundation is to:
- To fund, restore, and preserve the history of the International Harvester Company within the western region of the USA.
- To fund localized activities for the sharing of information, ideas, and history of IH memorabilia.
- To fund an atmosphere of sharing of our IH farm heritage through youth organizations, such as FFA and 4-H chapters.
The California International Harvester Collectors Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and the State of California Franchise Tax Board as a 501c(3) charitable tax exempt organization and all donations are tax deductible.
The foundation's purpose will help fund youth projects just like those underway today through FFA and 4-H clubs. Currently FFA and 4-H chapters in Ramona, and Carpinteria, all of California are presently restoring antique Farmall tractors by energetic, involved youth.
