California International Harvester Collectors Foundation: The California International Harvester (IH) Collectors Foundation was formed by IH Collectors Chapter #14 and is located in northern California, for public and charitable funding on the collection, restoration, and displaying of International Harvester equipment, machinery, and other items of historic interest. The purpose of the Foundation is:

  • To fund, restore, and preserve the history of the International Harvester Company across the USA.
  • To fund for the sharing of information, ideas, and history of IH memorabilia. 
  • To fund an atmosphere of sharing of our IH farm heritage through youth organizations, such as FFA and 4-H chapters.

Is the Foundation tax exempt? The California International Harvester Collectors Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and the State of California Franchise Tax Board as a 501c(3) charitable tax exempt organization and all donations are tax deductible.  The foundation became tax exempt as of April 22, 2006 with the federal government. Our federal ID is #27-0123839. Donations to the foundation are deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation became a tax exempt organization for state purposes. The California Franchise Tax Board exemption ID is 98-02162 and became effective August 9, 2006.

The Foundation’s purpose will help fund youth projects just like those underway today through FFA and 4-H clubs.

Do I get a receipt for my donation? Yes. Whether a cash donation or a non cash donation, the Foundation will send a receipt for your donation to the California International Harvester Collectors Foundation. For a non cash donation we suggest a donor should get an independent appraised valuation of their tractor or equipment before making their donation to the foundation.
